Perry Homes Foundation joins Tuman Breast Cancer Foundation to assist during Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Prosper, TX, Oct. 2026 — In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, Perry Homes has supported the Tuman Breast Cancer Foundation to assist women and families navigating breast cancer in Prosper, Texas, and surrounding local communities.
Perry Homes’ gift provides financial assistance to local women undergoing active treatment, helping cover medical costs as well as essential needs, including meal assistance, reliable transportation, childcare support and other resources designed to ease everyday burdens during care.
Tuman Breast Cancer Foundation also hosts local initiatives, including the recent Pink Boots & Small Town Roots event, where attendees gathered for an evening of live music, community spirit and hope. The foundation also produces the annual Pretty in Pink Luncheon, a high-fashion runway that showcases Texas designers and brands while honoring breast cancer survivors and supporting families in need.
"Perry Homes is proud to support the Tuman Breast Cancer Foundation and the incredible work it does with local individuals and families impacted by breast cancer," said Kathy Britton, Owner and Executive Chair of Perry Homes. "In addition to helping the Foundation provide the services these women and families need, we are also committed to raising awareness within our communities and encouraging our business partners to do the same."
The Tuman Breast Cancer Foundation was inspired by Natalie Tuman’s experience, who was diagnosed with Stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma in 2018. The practical and emotional support she received from the Prosper community, ranging from meals and childcare to prayer, fueled the organization's mission to ensure no woman faces their breast cancer journey alone.
Since its founding by Bob Perry in 1967, Perry Homes has continued to support their communities. Committed to strengthening communities while helping our neighbors thrive, the Perry Homes Foundation’s mission supports education, mental and physical health, the environment, housing insecurity and services for individuals and families with great needs and limited opportunities. Perry Homes has contributed millions of dollars to non-profit organizations across major Texas and Florida markets to help neighbors thrive and build stronger community connections.
